Obviously, Donald Trump is contagious.
How else to explain this through-the-looking-glass TV spot from pro-John Kasich Super PAC New Day for America attacking Ted Cruz?
Seriously? Very much so, according to FishbowlDC:
“When will it end?” you ask yourself.
“What mind creates such a thing?” you wonder.
The answer clarifies. It is the mind of Fred Davis, the creator of one of the most iconically bizarre campaign ads ever, Demon Sheep.

Which spot’s more demented?

I vote for the sheep ad. I enjoy how it seems to feed on itself and get more worked up as it goes along, like the old “Niagara Falls.” vaudeville routine. The Monty Python sheep on a pedestal, the surveillance camera view of CF’s board meeting, the disconnect between announcer’s voice and the fiscal policy accusations. and how the viewer is kept in suspense over who the sheep are supposed to be. . .
You just can’t match all that with one nose –even if it belongs to Ted Cruz..
Excellent deconstruction of the Demon Sheep ad, Bob. I just can’t get past the creepizoid effect of the Demon Nose . . .
