For the past week I’ve been hearing “If Gingrich can’t win at least one of Mississippi or Alabama, he’s through.”
Well, here we are. I guess it shows that it’s unwise to underestimate the size of the man’s ego.

Last night on MSNBC, Newt’s daughter (R – My Daddy’s A Mensch) explained that what mattered was that her father was “driving the message” of the primary – not that he hadn’t accumulated any delegates.
I confess I found myself wondering how logic like that may have helped her get through childhood — but it’s probably best not to go there.
