That’s Just So Mean! (Latoyia Edwards Edition)

From Thursday’s Boston Globe:

A toast — and roast — for Dana-Farber chief

NECN anchor Latoyia Edwards, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute president emeritus David G. Nathan, and Brigham and Women’s Hematology chief Nancy Berliner were just a few of the 600 guests at Boston Park Plaza on Tuesday night for the roasting — and appreciation — of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute president and CEO Edward Benz Jr. The night of laughs and kudos benefited the Whittier Street Health Center.

The offending photo:

Really, guys, is that the only photo Bill Brett got of this group?

Have a heart.

Offended by people having a good time and laughing.

I guess I just don’t see photos in the same way you do. This pic of people laughing (as well as your earlier example of Bianca de la Garza) doesn’t strike me as mean or unflattering. The unforced expression of joy on the faces seems beautiful to me. The open mouths don’t bother me.

Are you kidding? Obviously beauty is only skin deep yadda yadda, but David G. Nathan looks like an orc in this photo.
