New York Times Publishes Chinese Government Propaganda

In the run-up to yesterday’s Donald Trump-Xi Jinping hoedown at Mar-a-Lago, the New York Times ran this full-page piece of aditprop from Chinese government mouthpiece Xinhua News Agency.

(To be fair graf goes here)

To be fair, just because the Times took Chinese government money and ran the ad doesn’t mean the paper endorses it.

But . . .

Wouldn’t discretion have been the better part of dollar in this case?

Wethinks so.

How about you?

The NY Times has lost much of its ability to reason under the reigns of “Pinch” and Dean Baquet in favor of full-throated propaganda.

To think that this was not an intentional shift thinking that the embrace of zealotry would be the financial savior is to be thinking of absurdities.

This, John, is nothing more than the further expression of a clueless management trying desperately to conjure up ways to keep the money flowing.

What REALLY surprises me is that the Ochs family, as represented by the Times’ Board of Directors, still thinks that Pinch still retains some “punch”.
