The Globe 100

So the Boston Globe published its advertiser-friendly Globe 100 Top Places to Work glossy magazine on Sunday, and the list was very instructive.

Especially since there were no media organizations on it, with the notable exception of cable and communications giant Comcast, which ranked #1.

Among the Globe 100, though, there were no other media outlets. And certainly no Boston-area news organizations. No newspapers, no TV stations, no radio stations, no magazines, no nothin’.

    You linked to the Globe 100 list of top-performing public companies in the state, which came out months ago.

    And contrary to your post, TechTarget, a technology news publisher, made the list as well.

    Please post a correction.

    John: Have you checked out Comcast Must Die recently? Garfield has declared victory. That’s my experience, too. When we went for the Comcast triple play last summer, the tech who installed it actually called the next day and asked how everything was.
