  1. Curmudgeon's avatar Curmudgeon says:

Why should they? It was a pretty silly, and stupid, comment.

  2. Have they reported what Mitt said in London yet?

  3. Curmudgeon's avatar Curmudgeon says:

Have you read about some of the cock-ups at the Olympics yet? Some are pretty embarrassing.

Mitts comments seem to be ringing true, even though the golden clapper on the Mayor’s bell went flying off into the audience.

Would also be interesting to read John’s take on NBC’s coverage.

  4. Yes, the Olympics are clearly a disaster for London, so it makes perfect sense the Herald shouldn’t tell its readers how Mitt made such a fool of himself that he ended up on the cover of even their Murdoch papers.

The right’s turning the news media into a corporate marketing department is truly the story of the last 30 years. Reality simply doesn’t matter anymore — and what could possibly go wrong when that happens?
