The Obama campaign has launched a new TV spot in Virginia, Iowa, and Ohio, described by Politico’s Morning Score this way:
A new 30-second commercial – which will air on broadcast television in Virginia, Ohio and Iowa – begins by dismissing the new Americans for Prosperity ad attacking the president as “more false attacks from Big Oil” and notes that President Obama’s energy initiatives have created jobs in America. Then a narrator says, “What about Mitt Romney? As a corporate CEO, he shipped American jobs to places like Mexico and China. As Governor, he outsourced state jobs to a call center in India. He’s still pushing tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. It’s just what you expect from a guy who had a Swiss Bank Account.”
And the ad is just what you expect from an incumbent president who’s running a deficit with the American public.
