Saturday’s Mediaite offered three entirely counterintuitive stories:
1) Bill Maher hatin’ on the Qur’an

The Blaze Finds That The NPR ‘Sting’ Video Used ‘Questionable Editing & Tactics’
You would think that, given O’Keefe’s track record, that everyone would immediately run a comparison of what he released with the unedited tapes. O’Keefe certainly has made himself enough enemies. Yet none of them bothered to perform the due diligence that we are told that professional journalists always do. That’s the real wierdness.
There’s no shortage of bloggers calling O’Keefe names, though.
Name calling’s so much more timesaving, Bob.
In order to do that, Bob, you have to *have* the unedited tapes. O’Keefe has usually been very coy about releasing the raw material, at least until the initial storm of outrage has run its course.
I would be surprised if Maher hasn’t said the same thing about the Bible.
